MY CONTRIBUTIONS
Project Role - Gameplay/UI/AI Engineer
ERNEST THE BIRDLE'S GAMEPLAY MECHANICS
I was responsible for implementing the mechanics for Ernest by working closely with the design team. Some of Ernest's abilities include deflecting projectiles, picking up and throwing boxes by spinning, and gliding through the air.

ROSIE THE BULLFROG'S GAMEPLAY MECHANICS
I worked closely with the design team and our gameplay testers to implement and refine Rosie's mechanics. Rosie's abilities include eating objects/players, carrying objects/players in her stomach, and spitting them out either in front of her or far away by charging her ability.

UI SYSTEMS
I worked with the design team and art team to implement all of our UI systems. Including menus, HUD, and in-game context-sensitive icons.

LAB RAT AI
I also designed and programmed the AI for the lab rats that can be found and rescued throughout the game. The AI behavior includes calling out to nearby players for help, wandering around, interacting with various objects (e.g., jumping on trampolines or running away from boxes thrown at them), interacting with each other and players, and following the player that rescued them when called or when straying too far away from them.

OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS
In addition to the contributions above, I also worked on various aspects of Strange Creatures including integrating SFX, implementing interactable game object mechanics, and creating the save and shop systems.
